THE DUFOORTS : Wim, Jenni, Nora & Ezra
In 2000, Wim quit his job, sold his car and moved from Belgium to The Netherlands to do his Discipleship Training School (DTS) with the organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM). In 2006, Jenni graduated from community college in Washington State, skipped the graduation ceremony and hopped on an airplane to the Republic of Georgia to do her DTS. In 2009 we met, in 2011 we married, in 2013 our daughter Nora was born and in 2015 our son Ezra was born. Through all of this, our journey with God has only become more interesting!
Currently we are based in The Netherlands where we serve as full-time missionaries with YWAM Heidebeek.

OUR HEARTBEAT
Our first and highest calling is to know God intimately and to love Him passionately. After that, we desire to help people discover the Truth that transforms. We have seen that many Christians get stuck at the point of salvation, and never seem to grow to actually look like Jesus & to find their God-given identity (gifts, callings, talents). Others grow quickly at first, but stop after some time. But accepting Jesus as Savior is not the end goal, it's just the beginning. The beginning of a life-long transformation process that takes place as we continually encounter God in His fullness (Father, Son & Holy Spirit). We're passionate about becoming like Jesus and awakening the church to take part in that transformation as well. We're also passionate about creating moments for people who don't now God to encounter Him in 'Spirit and in Truth'.
